Entry Period
Submit your photograph from November 15, 2026, through November 22, 2026.
Photo Location & Theme
All photographs must be taken in Grant County, Kentucky, and capture something that reflects our community's character, beauty, or everyday life. Subjects may include local scenery, landmarks, people, events, traditions, or those simple hometown moments that make Grant County feel like home.
Public Voting
Voting opens November 23, 2026, and closes December 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Each voter may vote once in each division per day during the voting period.
Winner Selection
Two winners will be selected by public vote, one youth winner and one adult winner.
Permissions
By entering, contestants give permission for their winning photograph and photographer credit to appear in the magazine. Photographers retain ownership of their images.
Winner Announcement
Winners will be announced in the Winter issue of We Are Grant County magazine, released January 15, and on the We Are Grant County app.
Grant County Residency
Contestants must live in Grant County, Kentucky to enter the contest.
Prizes & Winner Recognition
Two winners will be selected by public vote, one youth winner and one adult winner. The winning photographs will also be featured in the Winter issue of We Are Grant County, released January 15. To keep things fair, all winners will be featured in the magazine and in the app.
